The Road to No-Kill...
By spaying and neutering almost 50,000 animals in our community since 1981, we have given these cats and dogs the chance to live healthier, happier lives. We have also stopped the birth of countless thousands of unwanted kittens and puppies that would end up tragically unwanted, unloved, homeless, and dead. Of course, none of this would have been possible without the support of our participating veterinarians, the generous donations of our SNAP friends, and our dedicated volunteers.

You can help us reach the goal of a no-kill community. Your gift goes straight to the animals -- to enable us to spay/neuter more dogs and cats, prevent needless suffering and ease the burden at our local shelters.

What Can You Do Now?

Sponsor a Spay!
Make a donation and know you've helped an animal in need.
$25 will neuter a male cat
$40 will spay a female cat
$55 will neuter a male dog
$65 will spay a female dog

Matching Gifts
Some companies match employee donations or volunteer hours. Check with your Human Resources department -- your donation to SNAP could be twice as nice!

Grow our Endowment Fund
SNAP's Endowment Fund was established in 1981 and is protected forever by the Greater Harrisburg Foundation. While the principal can never be touched, the interest is paid annually and goes entirely to the Surgery Fund. To make a donation to the Endowment Fund, please call SNAP at (717) 732-LESS. Your gift is tax deductible.

Lasting Gifts
Ensure that your compassion and concern for area animals will remain after your lifetime by remembering SNAP in your will or estate plan. You can make a gift of cash, securities, real estate or personal property, or you can name SNAP as beneficiary of a retirement plan, insurance policy or bank account. Please consult your accountant or legal advisor for more information.
